PE Founder Ashok Gadgil wins 2012 Zayed Future Energy Prize
Potential Energy Founder and President Ashok Gadgil was one of three winners of the 2012 Zayed Future Energy Prize, presented by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
Ashok won in the category Lifetime Achievement for an Individual for his work on the Berkeley-Darfur Stove and received a prize of $500,000.
The other two winners were the Carbon Disclosure project, in the SMEs & NGOs category, and Schneider Electric, in the Large Corporations category.
